Pavlo and Band Sarasota Concert reviews
awful
"Please don't waste your money hard earned. It takes a lot to budget for entertainment now in this economy, and it is hugely disrespectful for artists to not put their all into their performance, knowing that many people are actually making sacrifices to see them. The stage was so low budget; there weren't even lighting effects and the sound was awful. My husband and I don't get to go out as much as we used to, given our jobs and being new parents, so we were so excited to see Chrisette Michele and Pavlo and Band. Musiq belted run after run to the point that I couldn't recognize popular songs. Chrisette Michele has a good performance, and she stays true to the music you hear on the album. Yes, you expect live shows to offer more styling with songs, but I will NEVER pay to see Musiq again. I also purchased tickets as Christmas gifts for my parents and a few other close friends. We blew over $500 for the worst concert I've ever attended. My sentiments were shared with over half of the audience, which exited the venue while Musiq was performing. Artists owe it to the audience to give them their money's worth and understand stage presence, performance, and the fact that lessons need to be taken from artists."
